What is IgniteAI and who is it for?

IgniteAI is a community-driven accelerator for NZ founders building AI-native startups. If you're at the idea stage, early traction, or scaling — and you're building with AI at the core — this is your home.

What does it cost to join as a Founder?

Joining as a Founder is free. We operate on a community model — you give back through accountability, peer support, and sharing what you learn. If you join our cohort, the cost is 2% equity for our operations and payments to coaches.

What happens after I register?

After submitting your application, the team reviews your profile within 3–5 business days. Once approved, you'll unlock the Founder dashboard, be matched with a cohort, and get access to coaching, resources, and the community feed.

Can I apply if my startup is just an idea?

Yes. You don't need revenue or a product to join. What matters is that you're serious, coachable, and building with AI as a core part of your vision.

How are coaches matched to founders?

Matching is based on your focus area, stage, and goals. You can also browse available coaches and request a connection. The platform surfaces coaches aligned to your stack, industry, and challenges.

What commitment is expected?

We ask for a minimum of 2–3 hours per week — attending check-ins, participating in your squad, and completing growth milestones.

Can I leave and re-join?

Yes. Life happens. You can pause your membership and return. Your profile and progress are preserved.
