What kind of startups does IgniteAI support?

IgniteAI focuses on AI-native startups founded in New Zealand or with strong NZ ties. Stages range from pre-seed through Series A. All are building with AI as a core capability, not a feature.

How do I get deal flow from IgniteAI?

As a registered Investor, you get access to founder profiles, progress reports, and milestone data. You can request introductions to specific founders or receive curated deal flow based on your thesis filters.

Can I invest in any founder on the platform?

Introductions are founder-permission-based. We protect founder data and only facilitate connections when both sides are interested. We do not take a carry or referral fee.

What information can I access before reaching out?

Investor profiles on founders include: stage, traction metrics (where shared), team background, AI stack, and publicly visible milestones. Detailed financials are only shared at the founder's discretion.

Are the startups vetted?

Yes. Every founder goes through an application review before joining. We assess seriousness, coachability, and product viability. That said, all investments carry risk — IgniteAI is not a fund and doesn't provide investment advice.

Can I participate as a mentor or advisor as well?

Absolutely. Many investors on the platform also act as coaches or domain experts. You can register under multiple roles.
